About The Arvos

We follow proudly in the steps of Australia's greatest poets like "Banjo" Paterson, Henry Lawson, C.J. Dennis, Will Ogilvie and many more.

We enjoy each other's company, and love listening to performances of the masters' traditional works, recently written poetry, and our own original verse.

Although some of our members participate in various Bush Poetry competitions, we meet in a non-competitive way purely for enjoyment.

Our only rules are that we:

-Meet in friendship to pay tribute to the Australian Bush Poetry style, namely verse that has rhythm and rhyme.
-Will not perform material unfit for family entertainment.
-Encourage others to come to our meetings.
-Have no membership fee. Contributions, though welcome, are purely voluntary.
